Hi list Consider a structure like this: * first ** second *** third **** fourth Currently, if I export the "third" sub-tree to html (via "C-c @ C-x C-e h"), then "third" becomes an <h1> heading, but "fourth" becomes an <h5> heading. I would rather it were <h2>, i.e. that all heading levels be relative to the root of the sub-tree. Is there any way to achieve this? That should have been "C-c @ C-c C-e h"

Hi Will, I guess you are right that this should work differently, but it is not as easy to fix as I thought. It is on my list, though. - Carsten > > > Cheers > > Will > > -- > > Dr William Henney, Centro de Radioastronomía y Astrofísica, > Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Campus Morelia > > > _______________________________________________ > Emacs-orgmode mailing list > Remember: use `Reply All' to send replies to the list. > Emacs-orgmode@gnu.org > http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-orgmode

OK, I understand. Thanks for looking into it. I really appreciate the
effort that you put into org mode development. How you manage to do
all this and be scientifically productive too never ceases to astound
me.
