Would you consider this as a feature request to add the option to define new tags that will provide the same visibility cycling behavior as the archive tag? I do use archiving, so while it works for now it isn't a great solution to have lots of headings tagged archive that aren't really archived. For example, agenda views will skip over my headlines that I've tagged archive just to keep them closed by default. Thanks for your great work! I really enjoy orgmode. Hello,

I have not been able to find how to control visibility cycling of individua= l headlines. I want to be able to use my own tags, but have their visibilit= y cycling behave just like when the headline is tagged with the archive tag= . That is, I want to create custom tags that keep a headline closed except = for when using C-TAB on the headline.

Is this currently possible?

No, only a single tag is supported for this purpose. =C2=A0You can change t= he tag name with the variable org-archive-tag.
