12.10.7 Plain lists in LaTeX export

Plain lists accept two optional attributes: :environment and :options. The first can be used to specify the environment. The second can be used to specifies additional arguments to the environment. Both attributes are illustrated in the following example:

     #+LATEX_HEADER: \usepackage[inline]{enumitem}
     Some ways to say "Hello":
     #+ATTR_LATEX: :environment itemize*
     #+ATTR_LATEX: :options [label={}, itemjoin={,}, itemjoin*={, and}]
     - Hola
     - Bonjour
     - Guten Tag.

By default, LaTeX only supports four levels of nesting for lists. If deeper nesting is needed, the ‘enumitem’ LaTeX package can be employed, as shown in this example:

     #+LATEX_HEADER: \usepackage{enumitem}
     #+LATEX_HEADER: \renewlist{itemize}{itemize}{9}
     #+LATEX_HEADER: \setlist[itemize]{label=$\circ$}
     - One
       - Two
         - Three
           - Four
             - Five
