The exporter recognizes special lines in the buffer which provide additional information. These lines may be put anywhere in the file:

Most proeminent export options include:

| ‘AUTHOR’ | the author (default taken from user-full-name) |
| ‘DATE’ | a date, fixed, or an Org timestamp |
| ‘EMAIL’ | email address (default from user-mail-address) |
| ‘LANGUAGE’ | language code, e.g., ‘en’ |
Option keyword sets can be inserted from the export dispatcher (see The Export Dispatcher) using the ‘Insert template’ command by pressing #.
